Raven

An acrylic painting on a copper substrate, with a planished copper border welded onto the copper panel. The colours of the painting are complimentary to the copper, giving the piece its charm. 
 
In the painting we see the birds feet up as if coming in to land or perhaps on the attack, I wanted to capture movement in this piece and the abstract feel of the painting helps capture the movement.
